Lucas is originally from Rockaway Beach, New York but he has lived, worked and played in Salt Lake City, UT for many years.
He completed degrees in Mechanical Engineering and German at University of Rhode Island, then moved to Germany to work in the automotive world. After realizing the office life wasn't for him, Lucas returned to New York and joined the FDNY (TL-18) in the Lower East Side.
In 2021 Lucas moved to Utah to be closer to family and enjoy world-class skiing and mountain biking in his backyard.
Floating Goat Handyman was born as Lucas saw the need for a high-quality, professional handyman who tackles projects that are too small or specialized for most contractors who focus on new construction and remodels.
He believes a handyman is more than a person with a few tools and a truck, and prides himself on taking care of your property the same way he does his own.
